You've all hear the phrase, if you're standing still then you are falling behind. Certainly in the case of sharks if indeed they did stop swimming they would sink! And in business those who do not move forward or at least think about moving ahead will without doubt sink. Most businesses, even the biggest, most well established ones, will at some take their eyes of the ball and not notice the little minnow of a company nipping at their heels.
It's these very small upstarts with their innovative ideas, creative thinking and eagerness to succeed which make the established players sit up and see the light - eventually.
In time though these same small fish of today eventually become the large behemoth of tomorrow and facing the same problem that their competitors faced all those years ago.
